EVENTS
​The Hare and Hounds can cater for all events, large and small. Private dinners and functions are all available from 7 course Christmas dinners to a light buffet. We take care listening to our customers to give them exactly what they want. We also support local and national charities regularly hosting race nights and quiz nights that are very well supported.
Petanque
The Hare and Hounds has 2 successful petanque teams (one a bit more successful than the other) that regularly practise on our new piste. Childrens and adults Boules are available to borrow if anyone fancies a toss!

You can play anytime weather permitting and the teams practise on Sunday lunchtimes.
Pram Race
Every year the village of East Bergholt hosts a charity event called the pram race where local teams run around the village stopping at each pub for a drink. This event brings almost the entire village out and the H&H have a BBQ, live music, bouncy castles and family activities (face painting etc.) all day long.

Whitsun bank holiday (last bank holiday in May)
Quiz nights
Get your thinking caps on and come to one of our quiz nights (usually for local charity).

Private Functions
Whether it's a birthday or a bar mitzvah we can offer a hot or cold buffet or private barbeque. Talk to bar staff and we'll cater for your every need.
